The Jo Whiley Scent Garden  designed along side Tamara Bridge, 2015 RHS Young Designer of the Year. Tamara and I met with fragrance designer Jo Malone to help create the garden, which will include aromas that transport you to a time or place such as woodland walks, rain on warm paving, fresh earth and new leaf growth, or freshly cut flowers from the garden.

Unlocking these memories through scent can allow you the freedom to escape, to be soothed and comforted, but at the same time reconnect with yourself and the world around you. Within a few steps you can be submersed in your own imagination or simply breathe in the fresh air.

A beautiful sunny border creates a stunning foreground to the calming dappled shade of the woodland edge planting. As you walk into the garden you are guided by your scent memory wall, it gently leads you through different scents and these moments collect on the wall for you to come back to.

This garden showcases the power of scent and its ability to improve your mood, uplift you and make you feel good. Both Jo Malone and Jo Whiley will visit the show in the build to help with planting.
